An introduction to the practice, theory, and history of game animation within art and independent media through labs, lecture, readings and project critiques. Production will cover computer based 2D and 3D computer game animation as well as other game graphics areas. Emphasis is on creative content, experimentation and critical thinking. Students work with computer based editing and 2D and 3D animation tools to create a significant game animation project using one or more techniques. |
No prior experience is required but basic computer literacy is the recommended prerequisite and some experience with computer imaging is suggested.
Students must contribute to class discussions and complete course assignments. Grades will be calculated as follows:
Homework, Projects, Assignments will not be accepted late. Advance preparation for class is expected. Attendance is mandatory. Each class is a building block for the next. In the event that you have to miss class, you are responsible for making up the work and completing the assignments on time. Should you miss class, you will first ask classmates what was covered before coming to the Instructor. If you are going to miss class please notify me by email.
숙제, 프로젝트, 과제 등은 규정된 시간내에 제출해야한다. 항상 사전 준비가 필요한 수업니며, 병결과 공결을 제외하고 출석은 의무적으로 지켜야한다. 각각의 수업은 다른 수업과 연계되어 있으므로, 한 수업을 빠진 경우에는 이유를 불문하고 다른 학생이나 사전 상담을 통해 과제를 제출하도록 한다. |
